Anytime Appliances Is Supporting Open Door Shelter

In an effort to raise awareness of the needs of the Open Door Shelter, a Norwalk businessman is holding a unique promotion.

Anytime Appliance owner Chuck Goulant is offering a 20 percent discount to customers who donate at least four nonperishable food items, which will be given to the Open Door Shelter. The repair technician will pick up the food at time of service and deliver it to the Anytime Appliance office. Goulant will bring the food to the shelter at the end of the drive. The promotion runs for the first two weeks of April.

“(The Shelter) is a long-time customer of mine and I’m trying to bring awareness to it,” Goulant said. “I’m sure people can find four things in their cupboard they can part with. It’s a win-win situation across the board – and it’s local to Norwalk.”
